Patiently Waiting
20" x 24" acrylic painting
Message me to purchase.
The bride is ready! She has done everything necessary to prepare for this day - The wedding day! She stands at the back of the church waiting, ready to make a commitment and covenant with her bridegroom. Her bridal bouquet is fragrant and fills the church. What a joyous day it will be when Christ returns to unite with his beloved bride!
This painting is loose, expressive and free! It was a joy to paint, just like the wedding day we are all waiting for!

The Shepherd's Voice
20" x 24" acrylic painting
Message me to purchase.
Do you hear the voice of the Lord? He is never silent. He is always speaking. When we take the time to listen, we will hear Him. Those who know Him will recognize when He is speaking. Listen intently and the voice of your Lord and Savior will become more evident. He loves His flock and His flock loves Him and willingly follows Him.
God is our shepherd and keeps watch over us. We are sheep within His flock. We watch our shepherd and wait on every word from Him. We are eager to follow Him. He provides eternal life and rescues those who have strayed.
John 10:27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
This painting started as an effortless abstract. It hasn’t been worked on for months. Once put back on the easel, an image unfolded. It started with the shepherd. It was an obvious figure to me. When I muted the background around it, it came forward. I worked my way down. The sheep started slowly emerging. I created the sheep heads because the figure at the top reminded me of a shepherd for some reason. The legs and body of the sheep in the foreground were already there. I just added heads. The cross within the shepherd’s head was part of the abstract. I did not add it. Once I painted the staff, the painting came to life. I embellished with additional flock of background sheep and added some additional ink washes to pull things together.
God continually amazes me. I need to remind myself daily to slow down and listen for my Shepherd. He is herding me in the right direction, but I may be grazing other places that he has not called me.

Covered

Covered by the love of our Father. Take refuge under His wing. God’s love is all encompassing. He knows everything about us and loves us no matter what. God’s love is not based on merit, but complete devotion to his creation. Take refuge under His mighty wing. Feel the love of your father. Know that he is always available to you. Live under the warmth of his protective wing.
Psalm 36:7 KJV How excellent is thy loving kindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
This painting took so many twists and turns before it ended up where it is today – bright and whimsical!
My original intention was to paint “Refuge” and I saw imagery of feathers and wings. I felt the safety of God’s sheltering wing. Before I started, I covered the entire surface with bible passages. I think I probably have at least 5 layers of paint and collage material on the final painting. My initial attempts left me frustrated because I did not see the message I meant to convey, so I continued the creative journey.
I titled this final version “Covered” as it is fitting that the basis for this painting are biblical truths that literally and figuratively cover the entire canvas surface. Scripture is the basis for being “covered”. The wings symbolize His security and protection as described in many bible verses. I chose to represent them in bright colors and patterns to be inspiring and uplifting!

Rooted in Truth
30" x 30"
Scripture was used in the roots and leaves.
Message me to purchase.
Absolute truth comes from God. He is the author of it. When our life is deeply rooted in His Word, we base our decisions and beliefs on His inerrant counsel. We go to Him with life questions. He loves His creation dearly and wants the best for us. God has written this beautiful love story through the words of the Bible. When we root our existence in His truths, we can navigate this life based on His principles and are not hindered by the ever-changing world around us.
This tree depicts our deep-rooted life based on anointed biblical principles and nourished by living water. It is in our best interest to be grounded by God’s word. It is our anchor and foundation, guide, and counsel. Our leaves will never wither when drenched in living water.
Several scriptures were written on the canvas as a basis for this painting’s meaning.
Psalm1:3 The person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither – whatever they do prospers.
John 4:13-14 Jesus answered “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again. But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.
Psalm 42:1 As a deer gets thirsty for streams of water, I truly am thirsty for you, my God.

God is our defender! He fights our battles! We put on His armor and face trials with strength and confidence because we know that our Father is on our side. He is our strength and His word gives us the power to overcome. We are prepared for battle with Him alongside us. He loves us fiercely and nothing will stand between Him and His children. He is a Father who will never abandon us. We are protected by truth, righteousness, peace, and faith all provided by the word of God. We stand firm in defiance of spiritual warfare. Evil flaming arrows can’t touch us!
Ephesians 6:10-11
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

Flourish
24" x 30"
May you bloom where you are planted. Thrive in on all circumstances. Prosper in all endeavors. Sprout new growth. Spring up from defeat. May you flourish in God’s love and overwhelming compassion for you. You are a beautiful, vibrant, exquisite floral masterpiece! Rest in this image of how God sees you! A work of art!
Psalm 92:13 Those who are planted in the house of the Lord Shall flourish in the courts of our God.
When asked to paint what it means to "flourish", it didn't take long to get a visual of vibrant flowers and growth. It was a pretty simple decision to know that "Flourish" would be an abstract floral! So, I painted it!

Faith in Jesus
16" x 20"
There is saving power in Jesus Christ. In Mark 5:24-34, a woman suffering from a long ailment believed that just a touch to the hem of Jesus’ cloak would heal her ailments. As he passed by, she reached out to touch his robe. Her faith healed her according to Jesus. She understood the redemptive power in Jesus. This painting depicts not just a “touch” but a strong grip on Jesus’ robe. Our fist is clenching his promises and truths tightly. What if we cling to Jesus’s cloak daily? And hold on to his assurances? That is my prayer for all. Hold fast to Jesus every day.

It is Finished
16” x 20” intuitive acrylic painting
I started this abstract painting with the intent to communicate going deeper with God. The entire surface was covered in tones of blue, green, and neutral squares and rectangles. Tiny squares of yellow, magenta, and orange were added as highlights. I wanted to convey the movement of light into a darker center - showing going deeper in communion with Him. Eventually, I felt I wasn't getting the message across so decided to paint over it. As I was painting over it, I got this. I was painting without any plan except to cover everything and start over. As I painted, I saw a cross emerging so stopped and left it as is. I added the thorny cross afterward. I love it now! Speaks volumes to me and I also finally see "going deeper with God" in this humble submission of what Christ sacrificed for us!

Living Water
24” x 30” acrylic
#2 in Abstract Series
God’s word is living water. It fills us. It sustains us. We will never thirst if we consume His living water.
Jesus response to the Samaritan woman, John 4:14
13 Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
My visual for this painting is an abstract representation of water that will fulfill all desires. I saw bubbling, dripping, spilling and overflowing water and tried to represent that. There are many small details that cannot be seen unless you are very close. This painting is mesmerizing. Focus on it and take a drink of God’s living water!
After posting the two closeups below, I noticed there is a small cross visible at the top of view #2. I did not intentionally paint that. God signed it, too!

Follow Me
20" x 24"
Jesus asks us to follow him. I envisioned an inviting path winding into the forest depicting just this. It winds into the woods and fades into the wilderness.
I picture Jesus disappearing into the woods and we are left to decide whether to follow. We stand at the forest edge and watch him walk away. We do not know what is ahead, but we are eager to know him better.
This path is your invitation to follow Jesus.

On the Throne
24" x 24" Mixed Media
God, the Father, on the throne. He is in control, sitting calmly at his rightly place of honor – above all. Take a moment to reflect on that. God is sovereign over all. He is in full control, even when things seem bleak. We can depend on Him, trust Him, and rely on Him. He sees all and knows all. He is omnipresent and omniscient. We cannot fully comprehend his glory and righteousness.
We bow down to the throne of grace.
Closeups of some of the detail are below. I used collage material of old master biblical paintings, scripture and hymns in his mane.

Enlightened
20" x 24"
This painting could have many titles. So many things come to mind when I look at this girl’s expression and the change in colors. “Illumination” “Rejuvenation” “Regeneration” “Sanctification” “Love” “Revelation” “Godly Focus”.
All are fitting titles. I see someone who has experienced God and what that means to her life. The truth that finally starts taking root in her daily life. Her identity in Christ. Her change in demeanor. Her healing. Her breakthrough. Her strength. Her future. Her eternal destination.
God does mighty work in us. His word supernaturally transforms us. This girl is enlightened in her time spent in scripture. Her mind is affected by what she reads and the healing truth it brings to her soul.
This girl is experiencing a heart change. Her heart is softening toward others and she is showing love and compassion to all.
This girl sees hope. She sees past the worldly demise and rests her thoughts on her Savior – Jesus Christ.
This girl is strength. She is no longer a slave to her fears, anxieties, and false beliefs.
This girl prays. She gives her concerns to God. Her burdens are lifted.
There is a gradual fade from dark colors to vibrant colors. The dark colors are at the bottom – the root of her existence, but they are slowly changing to a new illuminating palette, a new understanding and confidence in God.
What do you see in this girl? What revelation is she experiencing? What new concept? One thing is for sure, she is finally seeing clearly.
Romans 12:2–Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect

Be the Light
20" x 24"
We are called to “be the light” in a world of darkness. That when people look at us, they see goodness, hope, compassion, and love. There are many ways to bring light to this world. When contemplating an image for this concept, fireflies in a dark wooded forest came to mind after praying and asking God. It is a perfect representation of how each tiny little firefly can impact the darkness. The light from one little firefly may not be much but put them all together and the forest floor is glowing! We must remember that our mission while on Earth is to spread lightness. We are called to be different from those around us. We answer to God and we represent Christ in our actions. I hope this painting blesses you and reminds you how beautiful the darkness can become when illuminated with love.
There is an interesting background story for this painting, too. Last week I was asked to paint live at Revive Wisconsin, LaCrosse. It has been a year since I painted live and started my prophetic art journey. God lifted me up and gave me supernatural confidence to do something I had never done (besides not painting for 40 years!). Over the course of the past year and a half I have been painting, but not live. When asked again, I felt the pangs of doubt. Would I be able to do it again? I need an idea. What should I paint? Etc etc. The main obstacle to me was the subject and being able to paint it within a sermon period… 2 hours. I was struggling with an idea trying to think of something. I went for a bike ride to decompress and while praying, God gave the title and the image. “Be the Light” with fireflies. Instead of trying to think of something, I simply let God tell me. It came to me in one instant. Unfortunately, I was not able to paint due to a scheduling conflict with my husband, but one more amazing thing happened. The first photo sent to me from the outreach was a WI team member wearing a t-shirt with the words “Be the Light”. After that, I knew I needed to paint this image regardless if it would be painted live. “Be the Light” was definitely the message from God in this current climate of unrest.

In the Beginning
20" x 24"
God-given creativity. We all have it. I am starting a new series of intuitive abstract paintings that are painted completely without a plan. I love the results and may have just discovered a new passion for abstract art and its freestyle methods.
Creativity is a beautiful thing. We come up with our own ways of doing something using our imagination. I am glad God was so generous when he doled out the creative potential in each of us!
I call this painting “In the Beginning”. For me, this is the beginning of a new artistic journey. It also represents God’s creativity in creating the universe. He had unlimited resources and organized everything in the most intricate and well-planned design that is completely awe-inspiring when we look at it in its entirety. How everything works so perfectly together… Even the tiniest detail like a butterfly wing. Creativity is a beautiful thing!

New Creation in Christ
18" x 24"
When you opened your heart to Jesus, you became a new creation! Your old self has washed away, and you have been reborn and new in Christ! This painting depicts surrender and what that feels like. Letting everything go and handing it over to Jesus. Allowing him to take it all upon himself – freeing us. No matter what we have done, all is forgivable in Christ. Immerse yourself in him and let it all go; the pain, the hurt, the unforgiveness, the sins… All of it. A new life awaits you in Christ!
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

Awakening
24" x 30"
Lord, give them eyes to see. Your evidence is all around us. The beauty of nature is the proof of your existence and we are without excuse. My prayers are for awakening. May the eyes of the lost be opened to their Lord and Savior. May they finally see ultimate truth; that they are one-of-a-kind creations and not accidents with no purpose in life.
God gave me this vision. It started with the wide-eyed doe and expanded. I painted the deer first without any plan and the other elements came to me slowly without any thought on composition. There is such uniqueness in every living thing and the way it operates. Mammals, insects, atoms, DNA, seasons, solar system…. Everything nature encompasses is miraculous. I pray this painting evokes an awareness in anyone lost; that they “go deeper” in life and start searching for truth. Nature is God’s canvas and proof of his existence.
Romans 1, 20
20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
Psalm 19 1-6
The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
2 Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
3 They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
4 Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
5 It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
6 It rises at one end of the heavens
and makes its circuit to the other;
nothing is deprived of its warmth.

The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
2 Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
3 They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
4 Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
5 It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
6 It rises at one end of the heavens
and makes its circuit to the other;
nothing is deprived of its warmth.
We Are the Lighthouse
18" x 24"
God is Light. He is the Light of this world! Just as a lighthouse stands out in the pitch dark, the church does the same. We stand as a welcoming sight to those battling treacherous seas and seasons of life. This beacon of light represents the church. A sign to all that we are available to help and support those in need. We are the light and love of God. God oversees all. He is sovereign and stands strong against the gales of life that wear us down. He watches over us and protects us. His watchful gaze is constant. He never takes his eyes off us. He stands with his lighthouse in the storm!
John 1:5 The Light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it

I’ve Got This
18" x 24"
Message me to purchase.
God’s hand is evident in everything. As the Creator of all things, he spoke the world into existence. This painting depicts God’s open palm. He offers his hand lovingly to all who seek Him. His outstretched arm and open hand is inviting us all to communion with Him. He patiently waits for us to grab hold of his hand and walk with Him daily, sharing our troubles and concerns. He assures us “I’ve Got This”. We don’t have to carry the burdens of life alone. Give it all to God. Take His hand and share your heart with Him. He is your provider, your comforter and your source of peace.

Provision
18" x 24"
God will provide. Simple, yet profound! We can spend so much time worrying and fretting over our provision, but God’s word assures us that He will provide for us. God gave me this vision of a little cardinal in the winter months. He is looking me straight in the eye, as if to say to say “Don’t worry. He’ll take care of you, too”. Whenever I look at his little cocked head reassuring me, I am reminded of God’s faithfulness. Even in times of lean, we can depend on God’s provision to get us through to the next season.
Matthew 6:26 repeats this promise.
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

Get out of the Boat
20" x 20"
Message me to purchase.
An empty boat is a good sign! It means we "got out of the boat". This painting is meant to remind us that we need to leave our safe little boat and start walking on water. The words that came to me were: Trust, Faith, Obedience, Peace. I urge you to get out of your boat and take a leap of faith toward what God is leading you to. Be encouraged by God's invitation!
Whenever I choose a painting subject, it is after much contemplation. My husband and I discuss issues and topics that we need encouragement about. My art is a “get out of the boat” project. It is so easy to talk ourselves out of doing things we really want to, but fear gets in the way. We are afraid to step out in faith.
A serene rowboat came to mind when I envisioned the peace of God. A very quiet scene with glass-like water. The water does not look intimidating or scary but very inviting. Almost inviting us to step out confidently. He isn’t making this decision hard for us. He is encouraging us. Step out and don’t worry and it will be just fine.

Identity in Christ
18" x 24"
We are each so special and truly one-of-a-kind!
It is hard to comprehend that there is only one YOU!
God gave me this vision of what it means to have our identity rooted in Him -
The Lion of Judah...FREE, STRONG, BOLD, CONFIDENT and POWERFUL! When I look into the eyes of this lion, I see all of this. I see the gaze of God looking lovingly at His creation with so much pride and devotion. He loves us wherever we are at, no matter what we have done. All is forgiven in His eyes. We need to understand that and live in our true identity. We are so loved and cherished by our Father. He will never leave us and is always waiting and willing to support and encourage us. He is not condemning. He is wise and wants the best for us. He knows what we need and empowers us to live the life we are created for, all in fellowship with Him, our loving Father.

Fatherly Love
18" x 24"
Our Father is so proud of our progress. He relishes in the steps we take to follow Him. I am especially fond of the gaze in His eyes. He is focused from afar. Watching us with love in his heart at all we are accomplishing in His Name and for His Glory. He is proud of our growth and commitment to Him. I hoped to convey his pride in watching his children’s growth. He waits patiently for us to turn to Him.
I painted this at a Prophetic Art Workshop held in Eagle River in August of 2019. I call it my “breakthrough” painting. I had attended the workshop looking for confirmation on my art journey. We were given options to paint and didn’t have the freedom to paint what we choose. I choose this lion because I really did not want to paint a lion. I thought it was too “cliché” for God and just wasn’t enthused about it. It is usually hard for me to paint anything I am not enthusiastic about. This lion was a process for me. At the end, I was overwhelmed with the result. The instructor was a prophetic artist from Australia and she was so helpful and positive about my work. She has kept in touch with me and provided beautiful encouragement for me to continue my prophetic art process.
This painting hangs on my living room wall as a reminder that God has a plan for me and my art. I see the pride in His eyes. I see the pride in His eyes for all of us, not just me. This painting is that daily message to me.

Open the Door
8" x 10"
I painted this after my first live painting event. God gives us many opportunities in life. He presents us with doors, but it is up to us to open them. I chose to open the door to my prophetic journey. I easily could have left the door closed out of fear. By stepping out in faith, I am walking a new walk with Him. I'm sure there will be many more doors that show up in my life. I will continue to open them one-by-one in faith.
This painting was gifted to Jason Upton, as a thank you for the inspiration he provided before I painted live the first time. I played his song "Whisper" so many times. I could not get it out of my head. He helped me hear God's voice clearer through that song and the message it conveys. I have added the lyrics below. The melody and words are so meaningful to me.
Whisper by Jason Upton
Jesus when you speak to me
I hope I'm listening to you
Let this heart of mine receive
What is full of grace and truth
Whisper whisper whisper in my ear
Tell me words I thought I'd never hear
Show me show me show me what you see
Illuminate what's right in front of me
There's so much more to what we see
Sometimes I'm scared to take it in
Is that you right in front of me
Are you the stranger or the friend
Whisper whisper whisper in my ear
Tell me words I thought I'd never hear
Show me show me show me what you see
Illuminate what's right in front of me
What you whisper in my ear
Let it find room in my heart
Like a garden let your words begin to grow
When my faith is prone to fear
Remind me of your love
Remind me that you'll never let me go
I will not forget
I will not forget
All you've done for me
Whisper whisper whisper in my ear
Tell me words I thought I'd never hear
Show me show me show me what you see
Illuminate what's right in front of me

Field of Disciples
24" x 36"
This painting visually illustrates the long-term impact of a believer sharing his/her faith with others. I titled it “Field of Disciples” as it shows the result of discipleship through the life cycle of a dandelion.
Picturing a dandelion, I saw how each individual flower has the ability to sow many seeds! We have so much potential to impact God’s kingdom within us. Just think how large our dandelion fields will grow when we share the Gospel! It is overwhelming. Each little seed of faith drifts off into the world, ready to be planted and take root, continuing the expansion of disciples here on Earth.
Dandelions are pretty invasive and hard to control, too. A dandelion is considered a weed with a deep tap root that is hard to eliminate. As Christians, we are the same… deep rooted in God’s truth, hard to stop and intended to spread like weeds through discipleship!
Painted live at Revive Wisconsin - Janesville in May 2019. Painted live in two hours with the help of the Holy Spirit!

Majestic
24" x 36"
This was my first prophetic painting! It was painted live at Revive Wisconsin in May 2019. I am still amazed at what God can accomplish when we submit. I completed this large 2' x 3' painting in two hours in front of an audience, something that is unbelievable to me... after struggling with social anxiety for years. God took the brush, most definitely.
The words that came to me when I considered the subject matter for this outreach night were: growth, perspective, majestic and strength. This tree depicts all of those. Someone commented that they saw this in the reverse of what I painted....looking down to the roots, instead of looking up. I found that interesting since it falls into the word "perspective". Our perspective affects our view point in life. "Look up"
